Unfortunately those aren't going to fit. The battery compartment dimensions are 89mm x 35.5mm x 20mm

now im really confused..
there are packs all over ebay that are 100mmx35x19- and they say "perfect fit" with a small cut in the battery door.. Is that all just lies?

That pack might be a little too long. The length of the battery box is around 104mm but the ends taper. Max height should be 21mm. I've used Hyperion VX 1600mah 3s packs which are a tight fit at 88.6mm x 33.5mm x 21.3mm. I picked up some Hyperion EX 1600mah 3s which are 89mm x 33mm x 22mm and they dont even come close to fitting.

You take "rugged" car packs or regular flight packs? Can't find carpacks on that size (max size 89mm x 35.5mm x 20mm ):

Rhino 1550mAh 3S 11.1v 20C Lipoly Pack (91 x 34 x 20) - a bit too big
Rhino 1350mAh 3S1P 30C Lipoly Pack (80 x 35 x 22) - a bit too big
Rhino 1050mAh 3S 11.1v 20C Lipoly Pack (73 x 35 x 18) - should fit but 1050 ain't that much.

Or what batteries do you guys run?

Just got with the standard ***** 3s 20C 1800 packs. I think there there is also 30c packs that same size. They are a very tight fit, but work well with the small cut in the door. There is also the 2s 2200mah 40c packs which give good run time, nice punch and fix just fine.

***** ********* 1800mAh 3S1P 20C (102 x 36 x 20) is 13mm too long so you gotta cut anyway, additionally to the tight fit.
***** ********* 2200mAh 2S1P 40C (105 x 35 x 18)
***** ********* 2200mAh 2S1P 20C (100 x 35 x 16)

Rhino 1550mAh 3S 11.1v 20C Lipoly Pack (91 x 34 x 20) - a bit too big

the battery compartment is 100mm long (this is a 1550 rhino) The 1550 is 22mm tall, a 100x22mm pack will most likely not fit (especially with this wire)

I now run "Tenergy Lipo 2S 1800 mAh 30C Hardpack" - perfect fit and two of these packs add to 3600 with the adapter so I can do more than an hour of bashing easily and they still got 25% left.

I run the ******* 2 cell 1300mah and it fits very nicely. Get about 10 minutes of run time out of them :)

I have these.. http://www.hobbypartz.com/83p-1800mah-3s1p-111-20c.html They JUST fit with the doors trimmed, meaning they can slide in and out with relative ease......I only tried them once to show my son the difference between 2s and 3s batteries.... Honestly WAY too much power. It makes the truck rediculous and will create LOTS of maintenance problems.
I mainly run the same packs as mentioned above - Tenergy Lipo 2S 1800 mAh 30C Hardpack They are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
