I was wondering if the pede could do a standing backflip with an 1/8 scale power system? Obviously you would need to remove the wheelie bar.
Thanks,
Frankie

I dont have enough traction available to try it with mine. But I honestly dont think the drive shafts could take it. You might get one or two out of it... but these shafts just arent tough enough. I noticed yesterday that mine, after only 3 runs in the snow, are starting to loosen up quite a bit. No jumping or heavy traction starts... just spinning in the snow. I cant imagine they will last very long once the snow melts.

Wow, really? These shafts are weak! You need to do the TMaxx shaft mod! Have you seen that? http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread.php?526039-How-to-MOD-Stronger-rear-axles-for-under-35. I did it to my Rustler and they are so big that they almost hit the spur and I'm using a 50T lol

With the right tires, bumper, and powertrain, then I think it would. Give me a month or so and I'll tell you....
From the first person to do a standing backflip in a E-revo :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h01_k9V5FyE

Please do. I'm planning on covering those bases from the beginning, so I'm thinking totally doable.

on my MERV I had to tighten the slipper almost all the way and could get it to do that but I would pop the universal "studded ball" out of the output yoke on the right rear all the time.. for sure get CVDs or beefed up universals for something like that.

The merv is a totally different monster. I sold mine and i miss it. Backflips on demand with 2s ugh!

granted yes, but the universals will be weak points like the merv... and I miss mine also.. never should have sold it. :(

haha i was doing them last night in my drive way!! i have the MMP/2400kv combo in it and a 3400 30c 3s and i was chasing my son around and hit the throttle hard and it just flipped up and hit him in the back of the head!! lol after i pick him up and made sure it didn't bust his head open, i was doing them all over the place!! but we all know how this turns out! i broke two stub axles(riped the ends right off) and busted one shaft in half!! so if you do them defiantly get steel CVDs! oh and i kept the wheelie bar on!
