I want to run a Non-lipo battery,What is the best/biggest battery you can buy out there?And what gearing should i use,I want decent acceleration and great Top Speed!!!!And do any of you run Foam tires,like Jacos or so on?How do they work?My Stampede will see more asphalt and carpet than anything!!!!

They dont make an actual wing mount for a pede... but you can modify one to work. usually the HPI Hellfire mounts work. I think thats what most people start with anyway. Or, you could get a Jconcepts Illuzion body for a rustler.... it has a wing included and it mounts on the back of the body.

As for foams, you could certainly run them. Just get 4 front offset traxxas foams from Jaco... that would be a pretty sweet setup.

The biggest NImh battery you can get is likely a 5000mah 7 or 8 cell. Go with Promatch if you want the MOST from your batteries... realistically if your going to spend the money on a really good Nimh battery, your going to need a good Nimh charger (not just a basic one) or you will damage the high quality nimh cells. By the time you spend this money, you could probably go lipo for very close to the same price. Just a thought.

+1 on what Pavmentsurfer said. Go lipo. It will be about the same price and you will be happier in the long run!
