someone help  my blast has been on the shelf for a few weeks and when I got her down she looked fine but when I pluged in the battery the motor went full speed and she was turned off so I unplug the motor and all works fine steering fine the speed control light's work with the radio fine but when you plug in th motor she well she just go's! and she worked fine last time I ran her and she has never fliped or sunck! so I don't think it is water damage someone tryed the traxxas blast trouble-shoot'n thing no help and someone told me to try blow'n her down with a blow dryer but that didn't work! so I'm at a lost!?!?
P.S can you put a Better motor in the blast?

I just hope you all still read this...
I bought this boat off ebay for 45$
The reason that the motor goes full blast is becasue one of the three transitors in the ESC is bad... take a meter to the three and see if they are shorted out.
if you dont know what im talking about that the thing with the heat sink (other then the motor) out of the boat
take the four screws out. you will have to unscrew the heat sink from the transistors. they are what you might need to relplace.
Goo thing is that they are only $1.08 each
I just ordered 5 extra. here is the link to order some
then scroll down to the D1062
Hope this all saves you some time and money... it did me.
anyways if you want to repay me for saving you $20
You can let me know what upgrades i could make..to make it run longer and plane faster.....thanks guys and i hope this help some one else out.....
