new servo

i crashed the first day i had my pede and i think i broke the steering servo bc when i turn, the wheels crack. i need to get a new 1 fast and the ONLY place i shop besides my lsh is tower. can any1 of ya help me out and show me the best servo they got thatl fit a pede for a reasonable price (under 50).

Right Here (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p.pgm?Q=1&I=LXUZ89&P=7) is the most popular servo for the pede, I run it and it rules, so much torque!!

but it says "REQUIRES: Hitec, JR and Airtronics-Z radio system". what am i gonna have to do. also what do u mean torque.

From what I understand, it will work on the stock reciever no problems, as for the torque thingy, thats jsut how much power it has to turn the wheels

ok it would work on your reciver baicly the rule is that a futaba wont fit in hitec jr ect without moddification but a hitec jr ect will fit into a futaba fine and the traxxas is classified under futaba and that is a little much cuz u dont need that much tourque it is just a little peede i run the 525mg it works for my t3 and it is only 31 bucks not bad for a bb it only has like 53 oz/in of torque but u dont need any moor that that so take the other 19 bucks out of your budget and put it in somthing else

this is what i was askin in prev thread.... the radio in the stock stampded is futuba? cuz they make 645 in hitekjr and futaba connectors... shouldn't we get the futaba ones?

Futaba J connecter is what you need.Here is the link to the one I would recomend its Tower but I recomend you buy it from you LHS,;)

if you don't want to buy a new servio $39.95 then you could buy just the gears ($3.99) from your lhs or tower. However, you'll be buying more later when you crash again unless you get an rpm front bumper and a metal geared server (the hs-645 is what most people buy). I've run through 5 sets of gears in about 10-15 runs... so do the math :)

hey i have the traxxas 2055 in my pede. i boke two sets of gears in the stock 2018 in three weeks and i broke a futaba s3003(or4) and havent broke the 2055.
