Well I have two glow igniters with me at all times. Just incase my rechargable one fails I pull out the Dry cell one. I use a Magnum for the recharagable and a OFNA for the Dry Cell. They both work great.

I use the ofna glow igniter w/meter. It charges in 20min. from a 12v power source and it works great for me.

I bought a C battery ignitor and it works like a charm. It cost less than $11. So my advice is stay away from the expensive stuff and go for something durable and inexpensive. Save you money for fuel, hopups, etc.

The hobbico glow starters are the best to me. Once they are fully charged they last for weeks without a recharge. And they last for years before they need to be replaced. I've had once last me 5 years, through 6 cars.

Go to your local lhs and see which one fits you wright.Ive seen the ones that take c batteries and the rechargeables with different length shafts on them. Some are expensive some are not see what your wallet can take.
