i am thinking of rebuilding one of my engines. if i left out one of the two head gaskets, would it still seal off, and would it give it more compression? also, does porting the header make any difference on performance? thanks.

rather then trying to experiment with compression and partial porting why dont you take a look at this link: http://www.nitrorc.com/mods/engines/trx15mod.html
i've done it and it is very effective on increasing the power of your engine. on a side note my engine didnt even have a shim or gasket on the head and even when i bought a gpm head i still dont have a gasket.

TRX POWER, read over the instructions a couple of times. Make sure you have the motor taken apart and infront of you, that way you have an up close and personal look at what it is you need to do.
I've done this mod and the best advise I can give is be patient, go slow, and think clearly. Everything should turn out just fine.

Ok thanks. Can you tell a big diff in the perfomance?Just one HUGE problem though, i dont have a dremel, how much are they, and is it worth getting one just to mod my engine?

there are different levels of dremel costing different amounts and of course the knock-off versions that will work just as well. these tools have more then 1 use so you are not neccessarily only going to use it for this one thing and throw it away.
the performance difference before and after was 1 of the biggest i have noticed of all the mods i have done on my maxx and at 10lbs thats saying alot.
