what do u mean it was going around popping wheelies out of nowhere? did it pull them when u got on the gas? .... did it make your truck overheat at all?

I think he meant when he slammed the gas it popped a wheelie and it won't make your engine overheat unless you keep it on full throttle for like a mile, but that will happed without the boost bottle n e way

What i mean is, the boost bottle gave me so much low end power and torque, that i would barely tap the gas and the front end would fly up, not on full power

I AM POSITIVE!!!!!!!! I ran my truck on Friday, the next day i bought a boost bottle, attached it, did absolutely nothing to the rest of the truck ,i didnt even tune it differently, ran it, and it was doing wheelies when i barely tapped the gas, it also increased the noise from my exhaust greatly, I AM SURE!!!!!!!!

According to Ron Paris at paris racing, he says that a boost bottle will do not much to the performance if any thing. But what will happen in theory and on the track is 2 completely different things.

I've been thinking about a boost bottle, too. I know they can DEFINITELY make a difference, as I had one on my Yamaha Banshee. It make OODLES of low end. My question is...where does the boost bottle mount? Anyone have any pics? If so, please post.
Also, has anyone put one on a ported Traxxas engine? I'm one of those who goes all out from the get go. I want all the power I can get out of this baby until I change it over to a Paris .21 like I had in my RC-500...years ago (MAN, did that thing scream!).
Thanks,
Pyro

hey there nitrus blood, if you dont re tune your engine when you install a boost bottle it is the same as leaning it out a turn. you are just ruining your engine and for what? you have to retune your engine after! if you ask me the boost bottles are only worth it if you dont want to get a new engine first. they work if you are willing to get .01 hp or so out of 30 bucks, not alot of bang per buck.
