I have mine at about 1 - 1 1/4 turns out and then use my throttle trim on the controller to adjust it from there. I would put your out to 1 turn out then start the truck and adjust but turn your throttle trim to 0. Have it idle slightly hi and then use the trim nob

Start at that. I don't know how many turns my idle screw is but my car will run without moving on it's own. Hope this helps.

The Idle should be slow enough to not engage the clutch. Yet fast enough to keep the engine running.
