question on engine exchange

I ported my engine on a rebuild about three gallons ago. I love it and would have no other engine due to the priceing versus power of other engines. I had a very small problem turn in to a huge problem.I have been running fox plugs from the time the factory plug burnt out and never had a problem till now. Got a really bad plug I guess, because the little metal rod that holds the glow coil in the plug broke off
and fell in to the engine, (I did not know this)assumeing the plug was bad took it out and put a new one on and fired her up and off she went. You all know what happens after this right!!!So my question is Traxxas
is there some way to do this engine exchange
and me keep my block.I know this is asking alot because you did no wrong. I did the the port job voiding my ability for your warranty, but it was that sorry plug that caused all this and want to know my options

If you are wanting to keep your stock block, then it sounds like all you need is the piston and sleeve kit. It's only about 35 dollars. If you need anything else such as rod, crank, etc. then you may want to add things up and see which way you come out better. I'd bet that Traxxas isn't going to give you an engine minus block in exchange for your engine minus block, as this would be tons of work for someone.
