Okay, i just ordered my new p2k pro. From your experience, what seems to be the best prop for that setup? i plan on ordering from octura. please let me know the part numbers if you can. I've also heard that i will need a new shaft. Can anybody tell me this num too? thanks for your help.
Oh, and one other thing, ever since i put on the traxxas water cooling kit, i'm having to counter the drag with a little more left rudder. does anyone know of a way to make it handle a little better or a fix for the water pickup to reduce drag?

The stock propeller should work fine with the P2K, that propeller seems to be the best setup for the Blast. If you really want to upgrade to aluminum or beryllium copper propellers than the Octura X432 propeller and OCGCSS4 stub shaft will be a direct replacement.

If you decide to but the Octura Prop and shaft you might want to get the X632 olong with the X432 and give them both a try. The X632 is identical to the X432 except it has a greater pitch. I have the X632 on my Blast and it performs well.

well, i got the new motor in and it runs great. I've found a lot more power throughout the rpm range, but not much more top end. if i can find a fix for that water cooling pickup, i think it will really pickup the speed. does anyone know of an easy way to put the pickup tube above the prop like on gas boats?

That's surprising about the new motor not having much more top-end RPM's. The boat should be going much faster (at least 3 or 4 MPH faster). Check all the moving parts to make sure they are not binding at all.
