Motor Upgrades

Hi guys,
I have just purchased a Villain off of EBay. I thought I would get a Blast to start but the Villain was a great deal. I have been reading in the newsgroup about the different motors available. The Villain comes with the 540s motors. Should I go with Stinger20's, Speed Gem Series (10T to 20t) or Trinity P2k's?

You cannot put P2K's in the Villain because the timing is set on them. The Villain, unless you bought an old one, comes with Stinger 540 motors, and for the first two years that should be enough. If, after 2 years, you want motors (which will greatly increase the amount of heat in the boat and reduce run times) then talk then. For now, have fun with your new boat; and buy some Octura propellers; no other mod. will increase the speed without heat or run time sacrificing more than the Octura propellers.

Thanks for the sage advice. Your right, I should just be happy with what I have. I'll come back in two years when we can talk. Let's see... I'll be 50 and you'll be... what 17? Not than age has anything to do with wisdom...
