ok i am threw with 4tec.

it wont run..has hesitation at high rpm....like it wants to die. i tuned it and retuned....same problem comes up.......

it comes and goes this hesitation........1 run at full throttle it really bad!and the next run it will be ok...

i have no clue, and i am out of idea's.........

Is there a leak in the carb? Sounds like it's running lean. Is the fuel line cracked or cut, how about the tank. Have you taken the carb off and cleaned it? If not, pull it appart and check for broken seels.

i might do that....a picco....but i will go with a os 15 with the red head on it.and yes i know i half to cut the crank shaft,and mod the chassie and motor mounts so the pull start will fit in.i have read so many topics on the mods that needs to be done!!

Hey,

I would also replace all of your fuel lines. My wife's car would not even start this season. I tried several different trouble shooting techniques, none of which resulted in a starting car! As a last ditch effort, I replaced the fuel lines, and the engine turned over no problem! Silicone tubing is great, but I think it has a limited life-span on these hot little cars!

does your engine run fine to a cirtain point, then really sob when it gets nice and hot, if it does then u need a new piston and sleeve, the only alternative it making your engine REALY rich so it doesnt get very hot at all, i dont mean really really rich to the point of stall, but we want loads of smoke commin out that pipe if you know what i mean :)

i would do wat roadracer said. it sounds normal and the same thing happened 2 me, i took the whole engine and carb off to c if there was an airleak and the only problem was a hole in the pressure line.:mad:
