:confused Ok, how or what gears can i use to make the villian have a direct drive transmission or come close. Wouldn't the stinger motor burn up !Would i have to buy a hoter motor? :cofused

The only way you could get even close to having a direct drive in the villain would be to put a very large pinion gear. It will not burn up the motor because direct drive boats don't burn up either.

As long as you only switch the pinion gear, standard 32 pitch, (not 48 like on most cars), then yes, car gears will work.

I was trying to just switch the two gears it has. Right now it is cranking out more torque then it should, so if I switch them, it will get a ration of1:2 i think.

I have an old stinger SS from great planes, and it has a direct driveline shaft. Well, it used to before I put in a nitro engine in an electric boat! It works awesome, and it flies!
