btw take off acceleration is good.but over all acceleration is poor and wants to dieat high rpm. and 3/4 throttle is ok, but full throttle it wants to cut out.

Is there alot of smoke when you grab full throttle from a stop? If not your probably too lean. Try richening your high speed needle a little.

Yea just try to retune it and it should run fine after you get it right.

Sounds like the high speed needle is running too lean.
Richen it up, and you should be fine.

ok i am at a lost here..i did every thing reset factory settings to carb...and still big time hesitation at full throttle. 3/4 throttle is ok but full it wants to die or cut out real hard.

graphite, sometimes the weather can really make tuning a pain. if the weather was cooler the last time you ran and the engine was tuned then(normally, cooler weather you can lean it a little more) and now if the weather is hotter and enigine is tuned lean it will run different. here in the islands, when i went to another island to race about a month ago, i totally had to retune because the other island was at a little higher climate and the air was different. i am not sure about where you live at but that may be something to take into consideration.

if it was too lean they usually DO cut, when my rossi engine is too rich, it wants to cut really badly, but doesnt, but the engines not going enough to produce too much smoke, so it might be too rich:confused:

i had the same problem, i tried richening it and to no avail the same problems, untill one day i realized these engines are very precise, try adjusting the high needle in 1/32 or 1/16 turns, i was turning in 1/8 turns and i never hit that sweet spot. now my tec screams.

adjusting the carb is very similar to adjusting the 2 speed. has to be done in very small turns at a time.
