Great boat! I have the octura x443/3 (3 bladed prop) and the boat really moves.

However, I've gone through two sets of the output yoke and return to short spur gear.

Anyone else having problems with these parts melting? I didn't see the grub screw on the 'factory' output yoke, so I guess they came loose and the parts ate themselves. I replaced them and used locktite - this time the yoke stayed in place (barely) but the return to shore spur gear is munched.

Anyone else eating parts like this?

What could be causig it? I am making sure the RTS drive gear is not flipped over and engaged on the spur gear. Besides, if the motor is running it seems to flip it back out of the way.

Thanks!
-Mike

Your yoke problem has to do with the grub screws stripping out. This usually happens from initial overtightening. The RTS gear stripping has to do with the clutch set screw loosening up on you. Make sure you get it snug. Some loctite may be nice also.

Good Luck
