Just wondering how durable the sledge actually is.I'm selling my nitro sport and I'm getting either a sledgehammer or a stampede.I've driven a pede but not a sledge. Also are they good jumpers?

if i was you i would get the pede, coz it handles better and is faster!
the sledge is old and out of date! and parts are not so easy to get hold of!

yes, i got mine a few weeks ago and if you want to go fast stock, then dont get it but if you want it to take abuse and beat the poo out of it by jumping vehichiles, 10 ft. banks, etc., then get it cause it is worth it.

yeah, matt also jumped it down a huge flight of concrete stairs and almost ripped the *ss end of my body off (sort of like on his old n. rustler body man, you ought of seen that thing, it was held on to the rest of the body by scotch tape)
traxxas nitro sledge will be a reality!

i would definitly go with the sledgehammer! i have mt first one, i think about 94-95, not really sure. if u want stock speed, the motor is sheiss, but get a trinity green machine 3 and watch it fly! alot more reliable and durable than a pede, plus you get an ESC instead of the cheap manual. the motors arelike 30-40 bucks each for the green machine, and it is already broke in for you! i have never broken anything on my sledge and you should see the things i do to it! you would like the sledge better. even though there are not any hop ups, the chassis is already aluminum, so it wont break at all.
the pede is ok, but get a sledge while you still can, they no longer make them. you will not be sorry!
