Run time

I want to buy a SS but i'm really not sure.
I like Electric car because they are easy to use, low cost, easy to find hop pop and etc.
The problem with them are the Run Time, some people say that they run 3 minute(with 1500mah) and other between 10-12 minute?
I want some opinions to be sure..

Mine will last a good fast 10 min and be slower another 5 with a 2000mah, my 1200 lasts about 5 min for fast speeds

I bought a 3000 mah batt. at Radio shack for 30 bucks and it works great. I get a solid 15 minutes of run time with my "Old School" Kyosho 360 motor and Xl-1 speed control. By the way I have a Rustler.
