Gearing questions for spirit

I was wondering if the spirits spur and pinion gears can be changed,if so what would make it faster? What size are they stock?

P.S.Does anybody know how fast it will go stock,it seems to keep up pretty well with my friends 4 tec,although he takes me in the turns,but that's to be expected.

I just got my Spirit and it keeps up with my friends Dual Sport, and he can go like 22mph+. I don't know about the gears, yet.

The Cat\Spirit does not look like it can support interchangable pinion gears. If you put a smaller one on, how is the gear setup supposed to adjust, there is no way to do it. Tamiya frogs I know have a lil arm that moves the main gears in the rig to fit varied sizes of pinion gears.

I clocked my Spirit and it goes 21mph stock. Well, almost stock, I have a Duratrax Blast ESC in it.( Does not make a very big differnce over the roatry.)
