i have raced my 4-tec just the way it is on some low cut grass and wow... it performed so good. and could you believe with slicks!!!!!! the only problem i had was the bumper.. so i took it off.. and can i tell you that the performance was so predictable and precise.. if traxxas were to come out with a rally conversion.. they would have a even bigger following... anyway... Pooycow.. does it take any modification to either the traxxas or hpi parts to make them fit (wishbone/arms, shocks-longstroke) i think there would.. how about you??

Acording to pooycow (he has said this many many times), the rs4 arms can work as a direct bolt on, but there is some sort of problem with the new front wishbones by hpi. Something to do with the steering... I don't know, havn't really looked into it myself.

how about just adding bigger shocks and adding the off-road rally tires. Would you be using if for big jumps or just to play around with the dirt at your local track, I would think with about a inch clearence you would be fine. oh and lose the bumper. i think it would be cool!!!!!!!

why use nrs4 arms.. when you can use the rs4rally arms/long strokes/axles....... that is what i want to know about... does it take modification of the rally parts.. i mean basically with my experience all i would need or any one else.. is to buy rally tires and lose the bumper like i said before.. and you would have a desent competetor...

Super4tec, if you were to go with the longer shocks I think that it would seriously throw off your camber angle. You would need to thread them in majorly, and even then I dont think it would work, unless you opted for some longer suspension arms, which requires longer axles.
