Well theres the Big bores that traxxas makes or Schumacher makes some alloy shocks.Losi makes shocks.I like the treaded body shocks the best Gpm makes some for the rs4 that should fit.

If you get the Traxxas Big Bore Shocks make sure they are short. I ordered mine and got long. Retail price is like $29.99.

You wouldn't want long shocks on you 4-tec

You can also try the ones from Powerline. They're originally for the Nitro version of this car, but they should work. Just be sure to limit your travel or change the shock shaft to a shorter length if they're too long.

The shaft length shouldn't be a problem with the Powerline shocks. If you try using springs other than what they come with, the new springs won't fit *exactly* right - but they will work.

Schumacher purple alloy shocks are the best i have ever used!
They are the ones that are used in the SST range of cars!

By chance do you know if there is a difference in length between the Powerline shocks for an NRS4 and the Powerline shocks for the N4-TEC?

Is one shock length longer than another for each car? Or is the difference just in the color of the anodizing?

I would suspect that the Powerline shocks for the RS4 are the same as those for the 4-Tec just anodized purple. The suspension setups on both cars are *very* similar so I can't see why they would *need* to be different lengths. You might try sending them an e-mail and see if you get a response.

Kewl! Looks like I'm gonna get the Powerline shocks for my car then. I'm getting kinda tired of the stockers now. http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif
