4-tec or t-maxx

I already have a rustler, so i am covered of road, but there is not many places to drive a 4-tec (there is some)so i was wondering, what is the best? which one would you pick if you were in my situation? i do have 1 big parking lot..can the 4-tec go over small gravel? please help!

the 4tec needs a really smooth surface to run well i would asume that the parking lot would work but you will soon find that anything will stop the 4tec i would get the tMAxx or even better the Emaxx.

The 4-tec actually can run on any street or parking lot I've seen. I can run mine on a regular street with rocks as big as the wheels and even hopped the curb once! I've even flipped it and have only broke One yes I said One thing in a year and a half of very hard abuse. As an afterthought you should know that one of my wheels have bent. Now i'm lookin to race so i think i'm gonna get a tc3 http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif.
But you should not be scared to buy a 4-tec because they are very ruff and tumble if need be.

Mine didn't perform well at all when I took it out to a local lot with a bit of gravel. It was set up with about 6mm clearance, and fairly stiff shocks. Don't think the standard setup was meant for rough sufaces, like JECLONE said.

I ment the nitro 4-tec not the electric one. Which would be better then?

If you have small gravel around what I would suggest that you do is to get the 4-tec and the nitro 4-tec wishbones. Then you can get some taller shocks and basicly make it into a rally car.

But my brother has a tmaxx and it's awsome!
It all depends on if you want a car, or another truck...
