Yeaman.....i know..... :/ I race 1/10 gas though and i'm really for progressing to Onroad as time goes on, I just set up a Custom GT/Dualsport made slightly wider with RPM buggy Arms/CVD's and alotta other work to make everything fit clean. This is my Oval Car for now because we just got a new asphalt oval at our local trace, but if i had the cash or the place to race it, a 1/8 buggy or Proceed would prolly be next on my list. For now, i'm drivin Offroad Real strong, so i'm gonna stick with that and see if i can move up. The MB's a GREAT toy, but i think it breaks a little too easy:/ Maybe just an upgrade kit or somehow lightened or made wider, more options, stronger Links...I'm Not Degrading it in Any way, it's a FUN car, but for the same cash, i could be Racing a new Inferno 7.5 fully loaded and a Modified(still ROAR legal) Custom Racemotor http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif Like i said, MB is a fun car, but 'just playin' with it isn't as fun as puttin it on a track, unfortunately, puttin it on a track usually means breaking or bending Something:/ Like i said, I'm Not Bashing it, It's Alot of Fun and i'm gonna miss it:/ But, i hafta feed my Hunger for the Track, cause that's what i love http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif Ima Nice Guy http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/wink.gif, But "No friends except your Pitman On Raceday." Hehehehe...BOY....So Now You All Know the WHOLE story.... I just dont get the rush or the Fun out of Playin that i do up there on the Drivers stand http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif Anyway....thanx for carin Need....i'll miss ya big-guy http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/wink.gif lol -Matt
..oh yea...dont forget.....

you should check out a 1/8 scale race on road, once you go proceed you never go back.

I know what you mean about it being a "Toy"you cant really run it unless your just goofing off.I dont know any one with enough $ to have one like me there for no one to run with and to exspensive to repair all the time to run it for a hour or so,so mu=ine just sits too.I think it would take a helova'deal to get me to get rid of it but I dont really run mine unless Im showing it off to some one.I regret getting it now.I shoulda just put the 1200.00 bux into aluminum for my maxx.lol.
If it aint broke, let me see it!

I wouldn't sell mine for anything.Do you NEED to have someone to run with?I enjoy just running by myself.Although I seem to always end up with an audience.
I don't regret buying mine at all.In fact I sold my T-Maxx on E-Bay for $325.00 and am using the money to upgrade to an M8 radio system for the Buggy.I had a lot more trouble out of the Maxx than I have had out of the Buggy.
You talk about putting $1200.00 of aluminum on your Maxx. That will not make it a Monster Buggy nor will it make it anymore tear-up proof.A tree does not know the difference between plastic and aluminum...It will however give you $1200.00 worth of parts to tear up then get disgusted with the Maxx and all the money you have in it.Then you will look at it one day and see all those $$$ down the drain and sell it from pure disgust in it and yourself for wasting all that money.Remember someone will always have one that is nicer looking than yours no matter how much you put into it!Always
Parting with the my Maxx was easy.No more Nitro related problems or expenses. My life is much simpler now with just the Buggy.
If I had to part with the my Buggy even after only having it this long I think it would kill me.

Yea, maybe i have a short attention span, but running by myself or even woth my Dads, 1 or 2 MBs doesn't get me too happy...maybe i just live in the wrong place, but my Dad and i own the Only 2 MBs in Phoenix. Like i said, i've had nothin but problems with mine despite being as 'nice' to it as i can be without breaking. I just know that i'de have a Fully Loaded and BULLETPROOF 1/8buggy that'll do 60mph if i didn't get so trigger happy. It would be fine if ii was still into bashing arround, but it seems like i dont ever run anymore unless i'm at the track, the track seems to like eating Monster Buggy parts, so i try to stay away(even though it sure is fun). I dont know, someone's gonna get a Really Nice MB(if i ever sell it) It have everything but radio/rx plus afew Hundred dollars worth of other parts. I'm gonna take about a $400 loss and i probably have less than 4 hours on the whole settup:/ That doesn't exite me, but i dont get too many thrills out of just lookin at it everyday either. So yes Dave...Running by myself is no fun, i wanna be able to turn some laps with it, Jump it, drive it like a racer, and i just dont feel like i can do that. I Cant afford it, and Traxxas is still on my Poop list as far as helping me with all the problems i've had. Real bad Glitching, 5 bent axles, and i stripped front Left Hub(bottom screw)...and i'm just over it. Time to move on, or sell it for a Proceed or 1/8 buggy maybe. I live in Arizona too, so i might just off ALLL my Xtra RC stuff and get a DirtBike. As far as "Playing" goes, i think riding my 'playtoy' would be alot more fun than running the MB in a flat desert lot:/ Ohwell, just what i think, but like i said, i will regret it, just isn't practical right now. Help me sell it guys?lol Thanx anyways http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif Later on fellas!-Matt

I agree goinbig.Mines getting cleaned up tonight to be sold very soon.Ive had it with replacing servo gears and dont have the $ to get the nice ones it needs.I spend 3 weeks down to run it ONE TIME ONE CEMENT.NO power slides,NOOOO jumping,NOOOO cool stuff.Im tired of it...And as far as 1200.00 into a maxx I dont care what other folks got because I only get what is practical for my needs.I dont want to compete with any one to have a 5k truck Im to scared to play with like some of these guys who do this,I have 2 of them and that 1200.00 bux could have added the finnal touches to both my truck AND got some neede stuff for my real car.I do regret it now.I will not give up on the big scale but untill I feel like dealing with the problems of the bigger scales then Im gonna leave it alone for awhile.I love the constant tuning of the maxx,Im VERY good with nitro though so I dont have to tune it very often. And I run them every day.Its nice and shinny now and ready to fly....Going bg,what are you trying to sell yours for and do you have it on E-bay?you might have better luck if you put it on there?Ask need for speed,he was gonna get mine a while back when I thought about selling it.He might buy yours if you have all that extra stuff.give him a pm....Thats also what sux how things depriciate!Oh well thats how life goes some times. Some times people just dont wanna pay for the sentimental value in things that we have. But dont give up,it may take time but theres some one out there willing to buy it!Ive found that out.It really helps get peoples intrests when you post it with pictures. Then they SEE what your selling.verses taking your word for it.Try that. And good luck man.
If it aint broke, let me see it!

heres the thing in prep to be boxed and stored till I find some one to give me what I want for it.
Ive had a blast cleaning it though,For the LAST time.
It looks as good as it did the day I got it now.
I never got the chance to break or bend all the stuff you guys did,I was always replacing servo gears...
If it aint broke, let me see it!

It's been awhile since I took mine out for a "ride". And, yes, if I was offerd enough, it too would go. Don't get me wrong,, after all I put this thing through,, it would be hard to part with, but I could do it. The other guys who had them all seem to have gone away, so when I go to play,, it's usually by myself. God though,, it sure is fun hearing the 1/8th scale yo-yo's at the track complain "it's too tight" when they talk about the turns, then I go out there and have no problem at all getting around the track. ****, I even turn the same lap times as them!!
But,, anyhow, sorry to see you have to sell it, and maybe one day I'll be joining you, but for now,,, I'm going out to run the squirrels off.

I heard that Ron...I love the MB over any nitro R/C I have ever owned.Yesterday I poured out the last Nitro I had left from my T-Maxx(about a quart)vowing to never get into nitro again. As far as I am concerned it is too expensive and the money could be put into something more adult oriented such as a 1/5 scale car or buggy.I like having a simple life and simple things. The MB fits that scheme to perfection.A very simple formula- GAS + OIL = GO HAVE FUN!
I have been looking at 1/5 scales lately. But for now the MB will do.But selling the Maxx gave me a starting point toward saving for another large scale "TOY".
