air filter

ive been looking for a good high performance filter for some time and have finally found one,its a crankcase filter but its the same material as air filter and it fits the velocity stack for the m.b. it has a chrome top and metal shield that protects one side of it and also chrome.just gotta find a place to order it since the manufacterer doesnt sell direct. its part # 62-1511 and can be seen at www.knfilters.com (http://www.knfilters.com)

I just got home from the swap meet and a guy had the K&N air filter on his 1/4th scale car and said he got it at a motor cycle shop some where in G.R.,Or dirt bike place,I cant remember for sure?Lemmie know where you get it from and when.

well when i got to the store the one i thought i wanted was as big as the rear tire almost on the buggy so i found a perfect one and its part # is 62-1360, also in the pic is the velocity stack next to it, the ring that holds it on is on the carb, the filter has a 15/16" inlet hole so its nice and tight. perfect filter for it!!

i found it!! after making about 15 phone calls to hobby shops, motorcycle shops, go ped shops, i found it at ramchargers a high perfomance auto parts dealer. im going to get it now and ill post a pic of it when i get back.
