You or another user could answer these better I am sure.I have only owned one Futaba in my life(not counting R/C airplane radios)and never owned a multi-charger at all.Since I also am looking for a radio system and maybe a multi-charger,I would like to hear from other users on these subjects myself.

jrn6- the preferred radio would be the fm, just make sure you get one with the end point adjustments, they recommend at least throttle but to have steering end point is good to. for the monster buggy the charger is not as important as it is in an electric car, a good charger runs about 100$ on average but a transformer type would work, they just take much longer, the batterys should last for at least a couple hours because they are only running the servos mainly, i use a standard 6 cell pack c size and its never ran out of juice, cheap price too, the duratrax conversion kit is alot of extra parts you dont really need. i bought the aa cells for my radio 700mah sanyo's because it has a plug in it to recharge while in the radio, even if your radio doesnt have this its not a hard thing to put on it,dave has done it and he could help you best with that.

1) FM radio with Novak Reciever seems to be the best settup to overcome Glitches.
2)Novak also makes one of the best chargers, and it's compact, to.
3)You dont need that Duratraxx conversion, just get a good set of NMH and you'll be OK.
Hopr this helps.-Matt
