5 tanks of fuel is what the manuel calls for. It took me a bit longer cause I couldn't get mine to run on the first tank. http://www.traxxas.com/ubb/smile.gif It was about too cold.

It took me a little over an hour and it fired right up and I pretty much was playing with it a little by tank 5 and then I tuned it for power and put the stinger tuned pipe on it and its been running like a top every since.
