I am very new to the R/C world, but I've recently purchased a Rustler and a Blast. I live on a lake, and this Blast is so much fun. However, I've been reading through some of the posts on here and I would like to buy one of the Octura props and a water cooling kit. My questions are, what kind do I need for the Blast and where can I get them?

you may purchase the water cooling kit from either your local hobby dealer or dorectly from traxxas- part #3875- cost $14.00 and as for the prop you will have to purchase a shaft and prop assembly from octura. good luck with your new boat.
p.s. the real fun starts when you tear it up and have to replace parts, i think i enjoy trying out new parts more than watching my boat run!

Thank you. I think I'll be purchasing these parts very soon. And as you said, I can't wait to continue to try new things out.

Thanks,
R/C boating is a very rewarding hobby. I've enjoyed it for years, and remember when most of the boats were made of either balsa or similar wood, and even cheap vaccu-formed plastic, of which, both were extremely light but were prone to damage with even the slightest bang, bump, or scuff. I now have gotten my son involved in R/C boating and have a better reward- the time spent on the water. However I frequently end up working on his boat after he runs it, which usually causes me to think of hop-ups that I can do to my boat. I have several projects in the works and will post pics when done. Best of luck, and enjoy your new boat. Any questions, e-mail me --- gizmotxcop26@aol.com
