I was planing on getting my engine ported.
stock speed is 50mph, after porting how fast will the 4-tech go. Also, I purchased a o.s.
glowplug A3, it looks shorter than the original one. Is this OK.

I've ported several TRX PRO .15 engines...of course it voids your warranty. Don't know how much more faster it will go...but yes it will go faster than stock...advantages are cooler engine, more power, more torque. Cons: the internals just don't last that long and it turns into one thirsty engine! Good luck.....
second place is the first loser...

I'm planning to port my TRX .15 too, however, If somehow the porting does not go as planned, what is the engine part number I would need if I wanted to replace the entire engine? (for a N4-TEC?)

Don't really need a part number. Even if you destroy the engine in a porting job, you can still trade it back to Traxxas for a new one. Of course it will cost you $60 or so.
