Is this going to be limited in availability?
I ask because it doesn't do much good for me to purchase one when winter is around the corner and it would sit for 3 months. :)

I don't see why they would make a new forum section for a car that will only be made in limited run(s).

My take is that it will be limited run. The only difference is the body and the green parts so yea Traxxas should make this a special edition. Why would you buy the plan one when you can buy the Block edition just because it looks way cooler and the body is awesome.

i think its just the Rally VXL with new body and wheels, i am not much into the electric part of traxxas so i could be wrong.

Yeah, it's a Rally with a few different parts. It may be limited run like the Platinum Revo and a few other vehicles; I cannot see this going on a long-term production run. What if Block switches from Ford?. I think the reason why it got its own forum is because of negotiations with Ford, Ken Block and/or Monster.

the first may go pretty cheap if its an auction, until people realize its there. If I was selling, I would put the body up buy it now/best offer for $60, sell it for $50.

That's what I'm gonna do, I've preordered one at Tower.
I plan on breaking even. Sell the green bits, and keep the other parts as spares. :D

LOL - yes, that's one way. The other way is to get some green spray paint, rite dye, or a sharpie - or realizing nobody knows or cars what color the stuff is under the body.

Or just snag a Green Hornet secret decoder ring out of a box of Fruit Loops and call it good. :D
