Lights? How many? What size?

Hello Guys,

I'm a big fan of LEDs, so, I was wondering if the Mini Summit will have the holes on the bumpers to put LEDs... If yes, how many and what size?

And, I'm looking forward to see a functional light bar soon like it's big brother has...

the bumpers do indeed seem to have some type of holes that could possibly mount led's. and most likely 5mm

Right, so far, it looks like 4 on the front and 2 at the back...

But, the pictures are not quite good on that area and it's hard to tell...

Well, according to the exploded views, it will have 10 LEDs total...

Standard 5mm LEDs (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3060980) will snap right in. Out of the box, the 1/16 Summit has "dummy LEDs" installed in the buckets, so they don't look empty. They just pop out.

I would expect an official Traxxas light kit and maybe an accessory illuminated light bar down the road. For now, you can hobby it up and make your own.

the parts list for the summit has a light kit:

7288 LED lights, rear harness (2 red lights) (1)/ wire tie (3).................. Call

it looks like it might be available soon after the car is released - i'm so stoked for this little thing :)
