Slash or E-revo?

Hi im lookin to buy an rc car and like the look of both cars and was wondering if u could recommend either 1.I had nitro car yrs ago and did not like all the tuning up that had to be done.Im not really going to race at the moment just for fun but i could get into racing eventually.

I have both and I think their both great.

Depends on what you intend to do really.

IMO the E-revo is a lot more fun, you can jump it higher and much easier to control in the air and land right-side up.

But the e-revo is much more expensive to maintain i think.

The SC class whether 2wd or 4wd isnt made to make big jumps, and their a lot of fun when racing or just bashing with other SC trucks.

The Slash is also cheaper to maintain, but there are issues that you have to fix to really enjoy the truck..

I agree with gadgeteer.
I have both too.
I used to run my e revo all the time until my friends all picked up slashes.
With 5 guys running short course trucks together it really is a lot of fun. The revo is to big to be enjoyable with the SC trucks, so now the slash is out all the time.

NOW...When we go to the BMX track and they wanna see big air and backflips, they all egg me on to bring out the erevo on 6 cell for some style and show off points. No doubt the erevo is the master of the big stuff :)

Both are fun though, so really i couldnt recommend either way :(

I have the Slash and the Slash 4x4. I would recommend it because it is a lot of fun and very easy to work on. This truck was made to be very user friendly. It can also take quite a beating! I bash it hard some days and she is ready for more no matter how hard I am on her :cool:

ive had a erevo. Lots of fun. But my brother always had a slash. And i loved it

I have both and cannot honestly pick between the two.

My answer would depend on your intentions.

Race/Bash and how much your willing to cough up $.

I suggest giving more info on your intentions and get feedback based on that.

Then go and buy one first and then the other one later because don't even kid yourself as that won't happen. LOL

Cheers guys.Think am sorted on the slash 4x4.It cheaper and easier to fix plus i was kind of leaning towards the slash.Cant wait for xmas to come to get my hands on it.A couple of month of watching everyones videos on youtube!!! Lol

SC is just pure fun with a bunch of other SC Trucks. E-Revo is great from jumping and getting some good air time. If you can, get both. You won't regret it.
