Hey all
Thought that I would share my new project with you. I am running
SMC 2 Cell 9000mah lipo's. I ran for almost 2 hours and never hit the
LVC, battery's were at 3.55v,3.56. Should have run a little longer.
Also with the Hyperion Duo III, both battery's charge and
balance under one hour.

Here are my upgrades
Tekin RX8 SC with 2250kv truggy motor
Castle motor fan
Traxxas HD slipper clutch
Aluminum red toe @ push rods
Rc lighthouse 9v powered light bar
2-2cell SMC 28C 9000 mah lipos

Very happy with stock gearing for now. Performance and run time are
unreal, and it so smooth when I crawl. I would highly recomend this upgrade.

nice set up. the lipos have plenty of power to shine the extra LED. you could splice the wires to the stock LEDs and save the 9 volt and its extra (high center) weight.

and yes that tekin is smooth

That is cool, but I really don't like the light's on all the time.

Well, looks like you've already got the switch installed to turn them off... ;) (agreed, any weight up high like that raises your CoG).

Cool setup though.

I've been itching to upgrade my Summit...watching your video doesn't help my bank account...that is awesome. I can tell the difference it makes over the stock. I like what you did with the lights, nice work. Thanks for the video and posts.

Very nice!!! The stock Summit tires will not last long on pavement. Get some New Booties for the asphalt and keep the stock tires and wheels for crawling.

Thanks for sharing .... great job .... everything is nice and clean.

Is the new ESC set up waterproof like the Traxxas one?

Hi
It is not waterproof, but I don't plan to run in water.
Have a boat for that:lol:
