i want to replace my starter to a roto starter. can anyone please link me or give me parts that i will need to do this. ebay links would be cool for the parts i will need to do this mod.

Jclay, thanks for the quick response. i already have the wand and roto start, will this work and is this the only thing i will need? how about the one way bearing, what is that all about?

Yeah that will work. You can use your current one-way bearing, or get an new one.

This is NOT guaranteed to fit your T-MAXX, REVO, RUSTLER, 4-TEC OR JATO!!! ... YOU must check for clearance of the Backplate AND the Starter wand ... you MUST check for clearance of the Chassis, Header/Manifold, Body, etc. ... These are NOT returnable.
That is directly from the part description in the auction. So, does it fit or not? Hmmmm

there is one that's from that same hopups on eBay that will work and i think the other one would also !! you can turn it in any direction you need for clearance but here is a better one!! good luck and check that site on ebay there are more typs if you don't like/want this one!!

I had the fixed one. All I had to do was trim the dust guard. Looking at the adjustable one, I don't think it would fit.
Mine worked great until one of the gears shattered. Then I broke 2 wands before I figured it out.
