I had a stutter like that once using tq radio in my street. It was always at the same place in the street so I thought maybe there was something buried that was causing the interfierence. When changed to spektrum it went away.

Try driving in a different area. If the problem still persists then check to see if there are any bare servo wiring. Have you tried to switch out the servos? Switch them out one by one to see if you can isolate the problem.

I'm no expert but it sounds like 1 of 2 things mentioned above. Interference, as stated try another area fairly far away, or you may have 2 servos going bad at the same time.

Wait one .... have you shortened the antenna? You said you tied another rcvr, is that antenna the stock length? If you have either antenna wrapped up to make it shorter but the wire is stock length, it can be the same as cutting it short.

Good to hear of the outcome. Chalk another tally up for a bad Opti-Drive. I'm glad I never had to deal with it as my T-Maxx was and my Revo is forward only.
