Hi all
My name is James and I live in tx. I have just purchesd my new Nitro 4-Tec I love it. I just wanted to say hi to all of u.
I wanted to ask for some tips on painting. I would also like some links to other r/c sites if u know any.

wash the body out with soap and water first, dry and let it air-dry for at least half an hour, then use the bag the body came with to hold the body while u paint it. use the masks that came with the body or some good masking tape to block what u dont want to paint, also use them to make ur design. apply the paint in thin coats and let dry completely before adding the next coat.
Always paint dark to light and back the light colors with a little silver to keep the dark colors from bleeding through.

also you should take sand paper or steel wool and scuff the surface you are going to paint.(NOT THE WINDOWS) this helps the paint stick better to the body. and make sure you apply very very thin coats at a time. i spray so lightly with mine that you can still see through the body after 2 or 3 coats. but in the end you'll have one nice looking body. TAKE YOUR TIME!!!!
