Easy to get started and maintain. Easy and fast to drive and handle. Reasonable price. Excellent engine trade back program, etc. etc.
Weak steering knuckles and hub carriers (both can be upgraded) and cramped chassis make it hard to easily remove and maintain items like the steering servo and header bolts without removing many other items to get to them first.
I don't quite understand what you mean by "inch up" tires but I assume you mean larger diameter ones. Yes, this can be done in moderation but you will have to be very careful about which body you use since larger tires will rub many of the low-profile bodies out there.

The inch up wheels are actually 2.0 inch wheels. Most sedan wheels are 1.9 inch wheels. The inch up wheels give you a slightly smaller sidewall by giving you a larger wheel.

I have a nitro 4-tec and I put 2.0" Pro-line roadhawg tires (on the factory rims!!)on mine and they lifted it up high enough to keep from bottoming out They also have a wider tire surface than the factory low profile Pro-line V-RAGE tires so you have a little better grip on the road and the road hawg tires have a rain groove design for traction on the damp days. I also have a set of Pro-line striker I's. They also fit honorably on the factory rims. Both of the tires i mentioned are 2.0 instead of 1.9 so they both will lift the cars ride height but u will probably have to do some extra cutting out of the wheel well like i had to so the tires won't s****e the body when turning and when the suspension is depressed, depending on the body you have on the car.
