longer driveshaft

i have made my chassie longer but i need my drive shaft longer can anyone help me plz.

i would put pics up but someone broke my cam, so i can upload any pics :mad:

for this one i had to use 2 drive shafts, i ripped them apart, take one of the short pieces, cut the male end off. glue the male end into one of the long peices, throw away the extra short end, slide the other long end on(dont glue this one). and you can trim the long pieces to length beforehand.

This sounds interesting:eek: ! How much longer? What is your new overall length? and wheelbase? We need pics!!! So you need to beg, borrow, or steal a camera somewhere:D

ok wheelbase stock is-22.17 inches
wheelbase now is 24 1/2 ich long

i didnt make it wider yet but i am

For a minute there I thought that looked like my broken chassis from a few weeks ago:lol: . Only mine was broke in the front. Keep us posted on the progress, and yes we need better pics so we can make out more of the details:) . The current pics are kind of scary:fear:

well i got to say. i love it. it looks alot better then stock and climbs alot better to. i mad the rear lock link longer and its works to so its pretty much done. and the test drive was great drove like a champ. but i got to either get wheel extender or something the tires run on the body when doing some hard climb. the.dont worry ill have pics up. maybe monday or sunday dont know yet. stay tune

outch, if its wide enough probly worth it, but dang.
what i did cost too though, got to get those traxxas tubes, for turnbuckels, your going to be tenfold cheaper and easier to go with the kershaw kit even with that shipping, hope that helps.
also 1/2" off set rims will help, mabey a combo of both would do it.
