Does anyone know of a balancer out there big enough to handle ProLine MOABs? They're pretty big, just @ 7" dia.
Hudy and Dynamite (maybe it was Losi) don't do much more than 4.5" from the looks of them. And Hudy says that 5" is all that theirs will do.
If nothing purpose built exists is there an easy to convert Prop balancer out there? Any links to converting one of those?
Any and all help greatly appreciated.
I need to get these monsters balanced, because they are almost shaking the car to bits when I give it gas in my hand...

In the interim, cant you just undo one of the wheel's drive shafts and balance it attached to the axle? That's what i do

I use the Hudy one without the stand:
I got it from A Main (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/31007/n/Hudy-Wheel-Balancer-Adapter-For-1-8th-Off-Road-Cars-Truggy).
I was able to notch mine to handle the stock traxxas wheels (17mm) as well.

Mount the upright post 180 degrees and clamp base to table top and let the post hang over the edge of the table. You can do a bicycle wheel.:p

I may just be under thinking this, but could you do that with the TRX CVD's?
I also had not even considered doing that...

So you're saying to do this with the Hudy or similar balancer and just build it with the vert. piece flipped around... am I understanding that correctly?

Maybe i don't mean driveshaft...i mean the black plastic rod attached to each wheel which turns it?! Anyway, theres a small bolt at the non-wheel end which you undo with the allen key. Then disconnect it at that end and the wheel is free to move.
