RX dimensions

Can someone give the dimensions of the 2218 rx? Will a Spektrum SR3000 rx fit in it's place?

Look here (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXYYC7&P=ML) for its dimensions. But, yes the SR3000 should fit I would imagine.

I'm seeing this for the Traxxas:

Length: 1.5" (37.5")
Width: 1" (25.5mm)
Height: 0.65" (16.5mm)

and the Spektrum:

Length: 1.06 in (27.0mm)
Width: 1.62 in (41.2mm)
Height: 0.57 in (15.3mm)

Trying to keep mine waterproof for the moment, is there enough room inside the case for this to fit? Looks like the Spektrum is roughly 1/8" larger.

Not sure what receiver box you are using, measure the one you have.

It fits, but it is a pretty tight fit. Getting decent range w/ that thing will be another story.
