View Full Version : Need some clarity............ (Speed Record)

Ok I know a guy by the name of Forbes holds the record of 71mph with a modded trx3.3, but what is the speed record for the Jato with any engine? What is the fastest a nitro Jato has ever traveled with radar or gps to back it up? I don't want to hear stories about someones cousin hitting 86mph. I want to know what the verifiable record is. What is on the books?

So the 71mph is the trx 3.3 record and the 84 it the overall Jato record?

Yes, I have been silent for some time now. I am still beating on the same jato! I have made a considerable amount of improvements. I can say that I have broken my current record by a good bit. I will not make any claims without a video! When it's time, I will post a new record video. Until then, I would like shout thanx to Dave at bukupower.com!

Bswift, I know you are doing all the work but after its all done you have to let us know what you did. I can't speak for everyone, but I know I want my jato to beat some of the brushless cars running around my area. :)

These pipes are kinda like those hot racing hardened steel gear sets, AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE! It will be the last pipe you will ever buy. No more guessing as to what pipe is the best for whatever engine you have. You get to tune it to the power curve YOU choose to have.
