What the revo? it's high for a 2.5 revo that like 5 years or more old. even if it had a new engine it's still to much.

No one is going to spend $700 on those trucks. Everything is outdated. Spend $700 and buy yourself a brand new Revo and upgrades.

There are a couple like that in this area that have been popping up. would be suspicious.

offer him $400 take it or leave it. keep the truck you want sell the rest on ebay. make up your losses. you will be amazed what ppl will take when $100 bills are flashed in front of their face and if it has been there long enough i bet he wants it gone.

if you do a search for a guy named squirrel on you tube he has made several videos to instruct people on how to do lots of stuff with rc's including buying used toys how to put a price on them what to expect.it would be worth it for you to look into this. that price is pretty high for an old 2.5

i dont think $250 for the revo is bad at all . it comes with some spare parts and has been upgraded a lil. if he was in my area i would give him $700 for all of that stuff. you could keep half and sell the rest on ebay and some money back.

I agree, $250 for that Revo is a good starting point for haggling, considering the spare parts and upgrades, and a new one is what, $600?
Did you see all the stuff in the pics? $700 is not bad at all, especially if you don't mind selling stuff. Sounds willing to bargain too. Make offer.

If it was a 3.3 revo I would say it maybe a good deal. I would say if you buy a used R/C your going to more then likely have to replace the engine

that is the best way to buy a used RC. automatically assume you will have to replace the engine and factor that into the price.

I just picked up a 3.3 revo with platinum upgrades for $150. It only needed its two rear carriers replaced as they were broken where the red turnbuckles attach. So 250 for a 2.5 seems tad high.

Ask him what Hitec servo it is.
Offer him $150 for the revo, if he says no, give him your number and tell him ok well when you decide to change your mind, call me, my offer will stand.
I bet he calls you in 2 weeks
