I just got a Villain evl and was wanting to know if there is any thing that I should know befor putting it in the water
here is what I bought

^^^^^^What did I do wrong? why does the link not work?
like I run 8.4v batts and what happens if I flip it over in the water do I have to swim out there and get it?

Becareful not to flip it over and have a chase boat (Kayak, canoe, etc.) to go get it. Don't swim out there, people have died doing that. The best method is to have chase boat. another good method is the tennis ball and fishing pole. I have a chase RC boat with tennis ball on fishing line. it works if your ready.
As for the electronics, once they get wet. Give it plenty of time to dry off and you should be fine. By plenty of time, that could be days or longer.

wow that sucks, I was hoping they would "self right" is it very hard to flip one?
I have never driven a R/C boat befor

They are hard to flip! but a a few wave jumps and a bad landing, it is possible.

do it in calm water and you should be fine

some times it will self right one time mine fliped it sunk a bout half then i punched it and fliped back over and i drove it back to me emptyed the water and was on my way
