Would you plug the 5s lipo in one connector and loop the other? What are you guys doing?

Just put 2S on one side and 3S on the other side but your battery should have the same mah and same C discharge

running 2s and 3s together isn't a very good idea. the packs should always be matched by cell count, mah, and discharge rate. the best route for running 5s is getting a single 5s pack and removing the series connection for the ESC and using a single battery lead coming out of the ESC, IMO.

so ruinning a loop on one side would be a bad idei?

You can run a 2s and 3s together as long as they are the same brand cells, same mAh rating, same C rating, and as close to the same amount of cycles to each other.

You would run a series connector, a 2s on one end and 3s on the other, and then to the ESC, you won't have any problems.

You can also run a single 5s, and put a loop on the other plug (assuming you have a series connection on your esc already). Make sure the loop is of high quality 12 gauge or bigger wire. just get a TRX connector and solder the plug together with 12 gauge wire and make sure its insulated with heat shrink or just electrical tape and loop it.

The best method would be to cut off the current series adapter on your ESC and put on a single plug. Then make a seperate series and/or parallel harness for when you are going to run batteries in series or single batteries.
