How is the esc mounted on the 3908?, I have 3905 and have tried loads of ways of mounting it on my truck including velcro, tape, zip ties and they arnt ideal.

Is there some way of screwing it down? perhaps a esc box with screw holes to put the esc in.

does that work with mamba monster max?

edit: oh sorry i think it does, but how does it hold the esc down when it has no screw holes? does it go on top of the esc?

yes its for a mamba monster. you place it over the top of the ESC and then it screws down via the two holes on both sides of it. It bolts directly to a 3905 chassis.

i mounted the mamba monster esc exactly where the EVX-2 esc was with the trx mounting plate:# 5626. fits like a glove.

I used the Traxxas mounting plate but I had to grind off the stubs that the stock ESC mounted against. The plate also gives you a place to mount the switch.
