I have a traxxas slash and in the past two weeks I have bent the shock shaft which i fixed. Today I was out driving with my Dad and we crashed and the top half of the shock broke off inside the aluminum shock cap.

Are Big Bore Shocks the answer?

I appreciate it

I'd upgrade to big bores while your at it I would get some ALuminum caster blocks/steering knuckles and RPM A-Arms in the front since it sounds like you keep hitting things in the front that will prevent you from breaking those parts in the future

I actually had that happen to me in september. Just today I replaced all my plastic shocks with these.

Have not run them yet, but they feel good in general.

Wait for the pro-line shocks, they should be out soon.
