How old is the vehicle? See if Traxxas will warranty it.

Yup give Traxxas a call. They should replace it, no charge.

Or you could just get another 2075 http://cgi.ebay.com/TRAXXAS-REVO-2075-HIGH-TORQUE-SERVO-SAVAGE-T-MAXX-3-3_W0QQitemZ200407618127QQcmdZViewItemQQptZRadio_Co ntrol_Vehicles?hash=item2ea939924f#ht_1410wt_722 like 20 bucks there. I have had no problems with mine and see no reason to upgrade. For what the Slash is it gets the job done just fine to me.

Personally I would stay away from no name brand servo's. I bought one off ebay for my 5B and its wack. Its slow and if something goes wrong with it, your stuck. I need new servo horns for it, called the guy and he told me he doesnt carry any!!!!

I would get that Traxxas one for 20 or so bucks shipped. Pretty cheap and I never had a problem with mine either. Maybe yours was just defective.

There was a guy at the track last wednesday and his started smoking..... really bad. So he pulled it off the track and you could see where it was starting to melt the waterproof cover, I think his still worked
