What is the biggest advantage(s) of switching to the 4x4? I have a lot invested in hop-ups on my 4x2. I run mine mostly on pavement, some gravel, very little dirt. So how would I benefit? Would a 4x4 Slash go off-road like a E-Maxx?

It will be a lot better handling the off-raod punishment it will go more places off-road. I think that the 4wd will help in being more like a maxx but its not gonna be able to go where e-maxxs are capable of going like over bigger obstacles than the slash can. I would get it so run on 1/8th scale tracks and you could put bigger tires and it will help it off-road even more so, i would really consider getting for speed and more off-road capabilities than the 2wd slash.

We don't have a track on any kind in my area, so bashing is about all we do. The thing that I like most of all with my Slash is its durability.

The motor isn't on the back either so the balance will be alot better. Better air travel. The front will pull in corners so it won't spin out so easy. 4x4 is far superior to 4x2 if you ask me.

It will be night and around a race track. Take a look at a 2wd buggy and a 4wd buggy. Better acceleration on the straights, turns, and whatever else there is. A 2wd tends to slide out under hard acceleration while a 4wd will have the ability to keep traction. I think this stock 4x4 slash will beat just about any modded 2wd.

Well it's a 4x4 :) Lots of other cool things including being brushless, but the biggest advantage is that it's 4x4 :)

you need some mad skills to drive a 2wd fast around a track, 4x makes it easier for us who have less than perfect lines to be fast :D
