View Full Version : A bit much for shipping???

I was just going to order a Thunder Tech racing chassis and while filling out the order form it wanted to charge me $104.17 total for a $85 part????
That's $19.17 for shipping.... They have lost my biz if they think I will spend that on shipping and handling...!
Any other place to get this stuff without the rip off shipping??

I just went on their site and couldnt get shipping over $12.88 for cont US.

No it's just regular shipping charges on their web site... Handling fee is $7.28?
Shipping is $11.89?? You can put it all in a USPS priority box for $6 - $8..
I can't beleive that they would do that... They lost my biz for sure unless I can buy it from someone else like a dealer of theirs or something???
Any other low CG chassis in fiber glass or carbon fiber?

Not much other choices for lcg..there is the G maxx..but its not really a lcg chasis..just CF.

It does me... As soon as you are ready to pay it comes up $104.17 for me..
shipping to Cali. Handling fee is the wrong thing to do if you want my biz.

I wouldnt pay it either. Im sure someone else makes a chassis for the Slash.

Just out of curiosity, are you telling me that if the chassis was 95 instead of 85 then there's no way you would buy it?

No, then it would cost $10 more.. It's the shipping and (handling fee) I'm talking about.
Ripping someone off is a different story in my book. (could be a mistake)
It's no big deal.. They lost the sale and I just bought a Xtreme chassis from A-main hobbies.
It'll work fine and is black so it will look better..
$7.49 for shipping.
No offense to Thunder Tech's parts but Service is a key factor to me.
