I have a couple of questions.

First of all, I'm mostly happy with this new truck. I was surprised to see such a radical new design.

1. Will a 7 cell side by side NiMh battery fit in the battery tray?

2. Are the differentials sealed? The site seemed to indicate they were but stopped short of saying it had sealed diffs. If they are, that's really good news.

It has revo diffs so they're sealed.

well considering it comes with a 7cell they will fit with the batt expansion (2?)

It will fit 7 cell flat side by sides no problems. However, 7 cell hump side by side will require a modified/custom battery hold down.

Thanks for your answers everyone. It's good to hear they used sealed diffs as many folks wanted them in the 2wd Slash.

I hope your right about the battery because the pics didn't show a side by side pack. From what I understand they have lower resistance and are better. I'll trust your judgment though and thanks again.
