I think this will be a good combination, but does proline offer the tires seperate without the wheels? I know they offer the wheel and tire combo, but i only want the tire.

Were you able to actually order the wheels? The site blows up for me when I try.

I feel like these are going to be considerably heavier than the stock setup. Anybody know the weight difference?

I'm going to get the Pro Line Dirt Hawg I Off-Road Tires & use the Pro Line Epic's that I bought.
I ended up trying the Pro Line Flat Irons, well, they are HUGE!
I wanted a slightly larger tire & an aggressive tread, I got it in abundance!
But, The tires were SO big I couldn't stop the car from flipping over & braking was horrid!
I increased the stance, over compensated the camber, dropped the suspension down to get a lower COG... Nada!
It looks sweet though! But now I have 4 tires I can't use.. =(
Maybe I'll start building a crawler!
If your bored and wanna see some pics.

Feel free to comment...
I wish my LHS carried the Tense wheels, they are SICK!
I may just order some eventually, but I like to support local businesses.

I wish Traxxas or some of the aftermarket companies would give us some options in 2.0" rims and tires. To me the stock size tire is the perfect size for the MERV. I would just like to have some different options for rims and tires in that size. I'll probably end up using a 2.2" buggy tire/wheel set up if someone does not step up with some 2.0" options.

They are not that heavy, it's all in your mind, those rims are as light as can be, so

Well ive heard that the weight of the tense wheels have improved the stability of the truck. They are also wider.

I have these wheels, but still trying to find a good set of rubber for them. The stock tires don't seem to work quite right with the beadlocking.

Do these JC Concepts beadlocks hold the tires on? I Have the proline epics on my slash with switch tires and cant even get half a battery back done before a bead slips out. They have made me very weary of beadlocks for rc's.
They hold the tires for me just perfectly on series packs, or 3s using 1/10 esc/motor and crazy gearing.
I just have problems with them staying attached to the axle. It looks like I may have ordered the crawler ones by mistake keeping the axle nut from screwing on completely.
